Following an investment of over £700,000, 11 luxury executive rooms are now complete and ready for guests at The Crown Hotel in Bawtry to enjoy a truly unique hotel experience.
The Crown is already widely regarded as one of the region’s most sophisticated venues and can offer businesses and visitors in the region, something that no other hotel in the area can compete with.
The 11 executive rooms are state-of-art and are the work of interior design company, Blueprint. All rooms are fully equipped with the very latest technology, including Interactive 32” LCD TVs with broadband and complimentary Wi-fi access, plus in-house movies and music.
The rooms are furnished with stylish fixtures and fittings with opulent soft furnishings and rich and luxurious fabrics and each have a lounge area to relax in. They also boast stunning en-suite bathrooms with unique details such as heated mirrors and double wet rooms with oversized shower heads to guarantee the most powerful shower in South Yorkshire!

With the completion of the additional bedrooms, The Crown has 76 bedrooms - making it the largest and the newest, independently owned hotel in South Yorkshire.

The menu offers mouth watering locally sourced and produced options such as Smoked Redwood Salmon from Jaquest Smoke House in Chesterfield, served with lime, dill and black pepper and freshly baked Granary bread, and Venison medallions from Round Green Venison Farm in Barnsley, served with redcurrant sauce and minted mash.

The Crown Hotel in Bawtry is celebrating this week, after being awarded a four-star rating by VisitBritian – the award winning tourism-marketing organisation.
A historic coaching inn for over 300 years, The Crown Hotel is South Yorkshire’s largest independently owned hotel. Over the last three years, it has benefited from a £4 million investment, which has dramatically transformed the hotel, giving it a stylish and contemporary new look and transforming it into the four-star hotel it is today.
The Crown Hotel has recently completed the final phase of its total re-development, in the form of 11 luxury state-of-the-art executive rooms, which are fully equipped with the very latest technology, including Interactive 32” LCD TVs with broadband and complimentary Wi-fi access.
